    Some explanations :
  • This nest can be made with plywood falls but also with oak, beech, pine or fir tree.
  • The measures are given as an indication and can be modified according to the thickness of the wood you're using.
  • The nest will be fixed 3 meter from the ground and the hole from which the bird takes off, will be directed towards the south or south east.
  • Fixing will be done on a branch using the closed hook, which will be attached to the center of the roof. (pay attention to the center of gravity)
  • According to the birds which fly around your garden, the diameter of the hole can vary : 28 mm for the blue tits and 32 mm for the red-tails.
  • Start your installation at the beginning of spring, so that you'll have time to varnish and let it dry and the birds will get accustomed to their new environment.
  • To make your nest more accessible, decorate by fixing pieces of barks on it !
